Akane is an Arcade-Slash where you kill your enemies with only 1 hit but you also die with 1 hit. The objective of the game is simple, to kill as many enemies as possible.
The game has five kinds of equipment to gear up, missions to unlock equipment, different guns, katanas with unique abilities, cigarettes that change the aesthetics of Akane's special abilities, gadgets that grant small improvements in combat and boots that change the dash and the way you move on the screen. There are five different types of enemies and one boss, Akane's Nemesis, who evolves according to the number of times he is killed.
